GHdC chooses Forcea and implements HealthReport
The Grand Hôpital de Charleroi (GHdC – Charleroi Hospital Group), resulting from the merger of 2 hospitals with a combined total of 1,124 beds, is spread over 5 sites: Saint-Joseph, Sainte-Thérèse, I.M.T.R, Notre Dame and Reine Fabiola. GHdC is adopting HealthReport and has chosen Forcea to provide data warehousing and decision-supporting information services.
Forcea’s HealthReport solution gives GHdC the ability to build further on its existing data sources, namely IBM CPO/WISH sources for patient administration and invoicing, SBIM for accounting, the 24 files for the Minimal Clinical Summary, Infohos for Pharmacy management, etc.
Today’s hospitals all need access to highly consolidated and automated decision-making information, through which they can quickly derive substantial added value thanks to an integrated vision of this information.
Standardisation to the HealthReport Data Warehouse now offers an integrated solution enabling systematic and regular reporting on an organisation-wide scale.

AZ Sint-Lucas Brugge opts for Forcea and HealthReport
The “Algemeen Ziekenhuis Sint-Lucas Brugge” is a medium-sized independent private hospital (412 beds) in Bruges. A few months ago, the hospital chose Forcea to provide datawarehousing and business intelligence solutions.
Once the phased implementation of Forcea’s HealthReport solution is complete, AZ Sint-Lucas Brugge’s managers and executives will have access to “organisation-wide” decision-making information.
During the first phase, patient management (ADT) and invoicing (TarFac) data from the Xtenso Oazis system are being integrated into the HealthReport data warehouse. Although the project was only launched at the end of October 2009, validation of data from the data warehouse already began at the start of the year. By mid-March, 30 patient data reports will already be in production and by mid-April, 50 invoicing data reports will be ready to use.
